Eduardo Villagomez
Originally from Mexico City, I moved to United States to play college tennis for LSU in 1994. After graduating with a degree in architecture and a masters from Columbia University in NYC, I worked as an architect for 15 years. We (my wife Nikki, son Kai and daughter Ayla) settled in North Carolina in 2015. While doing an addition to our home, I decided to build a charcuterie board out of the leftover birch plywood and quickly fell in love with the process. A few months later, I was buying hardwoods to create more intricate designs, learning along the way and with the few power tools that were in my shed, Form_A Woodworking was officially founded in 2019. I am passionate about beauty, detailing and craftsmanship but my main goal is to create pieces that facilitate conversation, promote entertaining and, most importantly, pieces that help celebrate the special times we spend with our families.
